“Marie Francesca Menniti is a clinical nutrition resident at the University of Ghent in Belgium. She is Canadian and did her undergraduate degree and Masters in Animal Nutrition at the University of Guelph in Ontario. She studied veterinary medicine in Edinburgh, Scotland. As a new graduate, Marie worked as a commercial poultry veterinarian in the United Kingdom.
Many of Marie's poultry cases had a strong nutrition focus. She was also able to further develop her comparative knowledge by becoming a freelance writer, specialising in pet nutrition. She joined the comparative nutrition residency program in Ghent in April 2022, with a focus on cat and dog clinical nutrition.
In her spare time, Marie likes to travel and explore cities which are new to her. When she is at home, she enjoys loose-leaf tea and board games with friends.”
