Jenthe Kwik graduated in 2019 as a companion animal veterinarian. Immediately after her studies, she started a Small Animal Rotating Internship at Anicura Dierenkliniek Randstad in Antwerp. After this instructive year, she worked in a group practice in the city center of Antwerp for 2 years where she compassionately cared for dogs, cats and exotics.
Already during her veterinary studies, she had great interest in animal behaviour. Her trajectory in behaviour started with teaching at the local dog school and, after several courses, expanded into her own business (Hondeugend), which focuses on helping dogs with behavioural problems and their owners.
Having been able to start a Residency in Behavioural Medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Ghent in October 2022, she is currently working full-time on both behavioural research and behavioural consultations of dogs, cats and horses.
