I am a Veterinary Physiotherapist with a PhD in the biomechanics of the equine spine, a solid foundation in research, and a strong passion for teaching. My academic background and professional experience have fostered a deep interest in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Science. WORK EXPERIENCE
EQUILIBRO 2019 - PRESENT FOUNDER & PHYSIOTHERAPIST Providing physiotherapeutic and rehabilitation services focused on (sport) horses across different disciplines and up to GP levels, in the UK, Norway, the Netherlands and Belgium Delivering physiotherapy-related workshops and seminars; e.g. for Utrecht University, E-quine, and SMDC. Multidisciplinary teamwork; e.g. partnerships with veterinary clinics such as Dier-N-artsen, EquiSound, and others. Business management HARTPURY UNIVERSITY 2020 - 2024 PHD STUDENT Designing innovative research methods based on critical literature reviewing to collect clinically relevant measures of equine biomechanics and back function Networking and collaborating, including conducting research projects and publishing manuscripts and conference abstracts.
