Dr. Olivier Brandenberger, born in 1987, studied veterinary medicine at the University of Bern in Switzerland between 2006 and 2011. He already worked on his dissertation "Videoatlas Pferd: Innere Medizin" during his studies at the ISME - Institut Suisse de Médecine Equine of the University of Bern, which he successfully completed in 2012 under the supervision of Professor Dr Gerber. He trained as a veterinary officer in the Swiss Army between 2006 and 2012 while studying. Dr. Brandenberger began his practical veterinary career in 2013 at the Grosbois Equine Clinic near Paris, France. He worked here as a senior consultant under the direction of Dr. Fabrice Rossignol until 2016. Dr. Olivier Brandenberger then moved to the Wiedaugrund Veterinary Clinic in Rotenburg/Wümme as an equine surgeon. Following the relocation of the equine clinic to Sittensen and its renaming to Hanseklinik für Pferde, Dr. Brandenberger has been managing the specialist clinic together with Dr. Stephan Leser and Dr. Jens Körner since the beginning of March 2019. He is responsible for general surgery and soft tissue surgery.
