Federica Bortolazzi graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Padua, Italy, in 2017.
Following a brief experience at an equine clinic and teaching courses for veterinary assistants, she spent nearly five years as a general practitioner in small animal veterinary practices in Italy.
In 2023, Federica moved to Belgium to begin a residency with the European College of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition at Ghent University, specializing in companion animal nutrition with a primary focus on dogs and cats. Driven by a strong interest in sustainability in pet food, she chose to focus her research on this crucial field.
