Financial support

"KMO-PORTEFEUILLE"

What?

The "KMO-portefeuille" is a measure that provides entrepreneurs with financial support for the purchase of training and advisory services.

How to apply?

1.    Register for a course via the website of the Academy for Lifelong Learning.

After registering, you will receive an email with your order confirmation. A little later, you will also receive an email from Ghent University (betaalverzoek@ugent.be) with the invoice attached.

IMPORTANT: If you wish to use the "KMO-portefeuille", you may not pay this invoice directly to Ghent University.

2.    Submit your subsidy application online at www.kmo-portefeuille.be no later than 14 calendar days after the start of the course. The UGent accreditation number for lifelong learning courses is DV.O103194 (the O after DV. is a vowel and not the number zero; the second is a zero).

3.    After submitting your application, you pay your share of the course fee to the government's financial partner, Sodexo.

4.    The Flemish Government will deposit the remaining percentage into your "KMO-portefeuille" portfolio.

5.    As a final step, don't forget to submit a payment order (transfer) via the website www.kmo-portefeuille.be once the total amount (100%) is in the "KMO-portefeuille".

IMPORTANT: In this step, you must enter the number (invoice number: starts with 75 and consists of 10 digits) of the invoice you received from Ghent University (betaalverzoek@ugent.be).

LIBERFORM

What?

Liberform is a training center for the liberal professions sector.

You can apply for a training allowance:

If you have completed training that is relevant to your job, the company can apply for an allowance for this training (provided that the company paid for the training).

The contribution amounts to €10 per hour, with a maximum of €60 for a full day per participant.

This contribution is in addition to the contribution from the "KMO-portefeuille".

How to apply?

  • Participants can email the invoice (after payment) + attendance certificate to premie@liberform.be.
  • Please note: this is only for companies with employees and they must be affiliated with PC336.

Cancellation policy

To cancel a registration, please send an email to the ACVETMED secretariat at acvetmed@ugent.be

The date of cancellation is the date on which your email message is received by our secretariat.

Cancellation is free of charge in the event of serious illness or accident affecting the course participant. You must notify us of the cancellation by email as soon as possible and before the start of the course, attaching the necessary certificates.

The full registration fee will be refunded if it has already been paid. Please note: illness or accident resulting in the participant being absent for only part of the sessions does not give rise to free cancellation.

Cancellation is not free of charge in all other cases. In that case, the following rules apply:

  • Are you canceling more than 21 calendar days before the start of the course? You will pay a fixed amount of 40 euros to cover administrative costs.
  • Are you canceling between 21 and 7 calendar days before the start of the course? You will pay 50% of the registration fee.
  • If you cancel less than or equal to 7 calendar days before the start of the course, you will pay the full amount of your registration fee.
  • An administrative fee of €25 will be charged for canceling a webinar.

If you have paid using the "KMO-portefeuille", you must send the details of the project application (project number and total project amount) at the same time as the cancellation to acvetmed@ugent.be. In accordance with the cancellation conditions, we will then refund the entire amount or part thereof to the "KMO-portefeuille". The refund to the Customer will be made by the "KMO-portefeuille". This procedure may take several weeks. ACVETMED is not responsible for this procedure or the refund to the Customer.

Why does ACVETMED charge these fees?

On the one hand, every cancellation and change involves administrative work. That is why we charge these fixed amounts. On the other hand, many courses attract more interested parties than there are places available. Those who register quickly have a better chance of securing a place. To prevent course places from being tied up by people who register too quickly and then cancel, ACVETMED applies these cancellation conditions. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
